Earlier, I was washing my fork and glass in the break room at work. When I returned to my
desk, I left the fork lying across the top of the glass. I forgot the fork was there, reached
for the glass with the right hand to drink from it and, as it was about to reach my mouth,
the fork slid off and was about to hit me. My left hand caught the fork just before it hit me
without looking down. Yes, videogames have improved my reflexes to the point where I can
snatch utensils from the air. Okay, I’m now finished making a big deal of a small,
inconsequential, lucky event.
