Well, I’ve been riding the bus along Central for about 2 weeks now. I had forgotten the
“interesting” sounds and smells of riding the bus in the worst area of Albuquerque. I tend
to turn up the mp3 player volume in general when dealing with the bus.

I’m wondering if I’ve damaged my eye a bit. While I was removing a stubborn contact
lens last night, I suddenly felt great stinging in the eye. I wondered if something was
lodged on the eye so I dropped in contact lens solution, which burned a great deal.
Anyway, it’s glasses for a while, I think.
