Here’s
an interesting article about a large wireless network in rural Oregon that was possible
specifically because they are not in a large city. In cities, phone and cable companies usually
create legislation to block free wireless networks.
Watched The Black Hole Last night. Hadn’t seen it in years. It had great special effects
for that time, but what was that ending all about?
They included an interview with one of the special effects guys and even he didn’t get it.
They apparently came up with the ending late in production so it’s just kinda thrown together
and supposed to be “profound”.
