Ah, that don’t make ya feel good.
After working with Blender a while, I’ve
determined one thing I don’t like about it is that there are a great deal of default settings
that could cause a problem. For example, lights don’t cast shadows by default. Let’s
say I have a supposedly transparent object that is only supposed to show shadows, but it’s
blue. Why is it? Is it the material? The light? The rendering settings? Ah, here
it is…the ZTransp button under the “miasma of languid vapours” tab wasn’t checked on the material.
Ah, nothing like incoherent whining about a program that cost me nothing.
