Apparently, one thing you have to look out for as you look at 1080p TVs is lag. For example, if you hook a PS2 to a Samsung HLR5688 TV, you get a quarter second lag after you move your joystick around. You can find a list of PS2 games supporting 480p and/or 16:9 here. I figure it would be fun to run a bunch of MAME windows on a 1080p TV…it’d be like an arcade!
