yeah…another interesting thing about visiting my grampa’s house. He’d
built a trebuchet for my cousin.
That’s a big device for slinging large objects. They used to use them to
bombard castles with large stones. I didn’t get to see it sling anything…I
hope to at some point.
I tried an experiment where
I recorded myself saying most of the phonetic sounds in the English language.
Then I tried sequencing the samples to form words and sentences. It didn’t
work very well. The words were mostly unintelligible. It could still make
for some nice effects in music though. One problem is my low-quality mic.
I tried to filter it but then it was just muffled.
