Ya know, if I were smart, I’d make a program to filter out the little semi-transparent
station identification logos in the lower-right of the screen…or at least
make them less visible. It’d take a DIVX AVI as input.
Maybe a filter for virtualdub or something.
I stopped by Best Buy last night to look at the Nintendo DS.
That Metroid FPS game is pretty cool. The stylus and directional
pad is quite close to the feel of good old mouse and keyboard.
I tried the Second Life Trial last night. Wacky. Some person
just started giving me all these objects like a giant Doritos bag and a coffee cup.
I guess everyone is a walking yard sale. I flew around a bit. You
can’t change the default control configuration as far as I could tell.
