I was chatting with my cousin and we determined that there would be great demand
for a program to translate microphone singing or whistling into sequenced notes (kinda
like a vocoder.)
Somebody implement this and let me know please. Simply look at the frequency of the
incoming sound, translate it to the closest note in the scale. Hop to it now.
What? Demanding? Little ole me? Well some of us aren’t worth anything on a MIDI
keyboard and need all the help we can get.

Here’s an interesting
story about someone who’s iMac was stolen but got it back because the computer
automatically connected back to some service that I don’t totally understand. They then
sort of hacked the computer to dialup their number and just looked at the caller
ID to see who it was. An interesting story anyway.
