At last! Cable modem is scheduled to be installed Saturday! I
signed up to pre-qualify for Qwest DSL and was on the waiting list
for Comcast cable modem at the same time. Comcast got back to me first
so cable modem it is. Alas, this will mean changing URLs and e-mail
addresses which is often a pain. Ah well, hopefully it will be worth it.
