Vanessa and I went to the botanical gardens yesterday. Some stuff was dying
since this is the desert. Probably very difficult to keep up any sort of
serious garden here. The new children’s area was up with giant pumpkin,
logs, veggies, seeds, etc. Budget cuts to the city budget will probably
reduce stuff even more. Guess the city’s low on money right now. Of course,
our camera batteries ran out as soon as we walked into the park.
We think we may have seen Airforce One from the breakroom window. The president is supposed to be
in Albuquerque today. That would explain the helicopters we saw on the
way to work.
