Here’s your English trivia for the day (from dictionary.com):
“Irregardless” is a word that many mistakenly believe to be correct
usage in formal style, when in fact it is used chiefly in nonstandard
speech or casual writing. Coined in the United States in the early 20th
century, it has met with a blizzard of condemnation for being an
improper yoking of irrespective and regardless and for the logical
absurdity of combining the negative ir- prefix and -less suffix in a
single term. Although one might reasonably argue that it is no different
from words with redundant affixes like debone and unravel, it has been
considered a blunder for decades and will probably continue to be so.

Why do large corporate websites like casio.com hide their contact email
address? I was looking at the Casio Exilim EX-S3 tiny
digital camera and wondering if they are going to do an mp3 version like
they did with their previous model, but there’s no place to ask the
question. You know they hid the address on purpose.

I’ve finally broken into the double pad mode in DDRMAX. Yay! It’s
kinda fun the way you have to quickly hop across the pads to get things
done.

I found the page of the robotics
project
I worked on a bit at Sandia labs as a student. Guess it’s
still going. No, I didn’t actually get to run the robot.

I’ve had an odd twitch in my right eyelid for almost a week. I didn’t
even know there was a muscle there to twitch it. Perhaps it will turn
into a full-blown twitch like some movie character!
Update: this seems to be gone today. Maybe I just needed some
videogaming, which was remedied last night. During the games, Vince was
using the alias, Eep Opp Ork Ah Ah, which is very difficult to
spontaneously shout out when he’s captured your flag.
