I ran adaware
last night on my PC at home. It removes secretly installed programs that
actually add more pop-up ads and banners to sites you normally visit. It
found several unauthorized internet ad/spyware programs and removed them
which may speed things up. I thought I was savvy enough to avoid such things,
but I guess not. I suggest you download it and run it too. I’m just annoyed
my virus protection program lets these programs get by. Nowadays, it seems
you need one virus detection program for normal viruses and one detection
program for ads and marketing viruses.
