I was watching Nova last night. It was about efforts to make a safer
cigarette.
What exactly would a safer cigarette do? Cause lung cancer at the age
of 60 rather than the age of 50? One odd fact in the show was that one
company was initially making cigarette filters out of asbestos.
The rules
for periods and quotation marks seem to be kinda complex unless
you’re in America. No wonder I always get confused about it. I read one
thing and it has punctuation inside the quotes. Another thing has it
outside.
I was thinking again about the evil of Ticketmaster as I often do.
You save them labor and material costs by printing your own tickets and
they charge you $2.50 for it.
