The Project Gutenberg DVD
will let you burn 9400 old books on a DVD! Mind you, I don’t
know how many are in modern English, but it’s a neat idea.
We are getting closer to accurately modeling people
in computer graphics. Paul Debevec is at the forefront
with projects like this.
Kiernan points out that they are careful not to show the 3D model
from behind…and perhaps there are some other cheats, but it’s
still a pretty amazing project.
