8/4/1999 lunch

505’s chicken enchilada. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t as stellar as
Gardun~o’s Los Colores enchilada. It was a lot more food than it
initially looked like. But what self-respecting Mexican restaurant would
have a “chilly philly” and wheat-grass shots? Or decorate with
avant-garde junk? It’s as though a San Francisco Mexican restaurant were
misplaced amongst the real Mexican restaurants.
Mental note: must find restaurant with green chile cheese fries.
