Our department at work is eventually moving into another building later this year. It’s
where the federal bureau of investigation formerly was. I went over there to check
the place out as they’re removing all the old stuff.
We saw some “Interview” rooms and the front desk
area which was behind bullet-proof glass with a special big glass drawer
for passing things in to them…much like a Taco Bell I saw in Detroit.
I got a neat old poster and an old police gear catalog.
(Apparently, the US government still makes those
old-school posters.)
It looks like their network
uses some weird 2 cable system.
We were guessing it’s so their cables wouldn’t broadcast in the RF band
like ethernet might. 
Don’t you hate it when you wake up in the morning before work and you feel
too well rested? Of course, you forgot to set your alarm.
