Here’s
an article about prescription drug commercials and how some people do whatever
the commercials tell them to. I guess the kids who see high-sugar Lucky
Charms commercials on TV and say, “Mommy, I want that!” turn into adults
who see high-cost, high-side-effect Clarinex commercials and say the same
thing. “Yeah, I know you spent of lot of time at medical school to become
a doctor and that’s nice, but I’ve seen the commercials and that makes
me an expert.”
