Me mum-in-law’s place seems to have a lot of black bugs with
red stripes. I finally looked them up.
They’re box elder bugs.
We rented a documentary called
Spellbound. It was about eight
kids preparing for the National Spelling Bee. A simple idea but it was pretty good.
We went to the
Rio Grande Nature Center.
Since we were pushing a stroller, we couldn’t go on the sandy path that actually led to the river.
I don’t think I’ve ever actually touched the Rio Grande…ironic since we live in a city it runs through.
We went to the Albuquerque Rocket Society
launch this weekend. We saw a guy who pointed us
to his website
for his camera rockets.
I took this little
video of the largest rocket we saw launched. Very impressive, it was.
