The time that daylight saving time starts and stops is changing, starting this year in the US, due to the Energy Policy Act of 2005. It will last longer, starting earlier and ending later. Here’s the info. I’m already having to change a program at work to accomodate it. Any devices around the house that depended on daylight saving time working the old way will have to be set manually around March 11 this year. In principal, I kind of like the idea. A bit more daylight when I get home from work. I actually wish they’d leave it the way it is in the summer all year long…I guess that’d be permanent daylight saving time.
