Apparently, the beep that comes from a computer as it’s booting up actually means something. They’re called beep codes and can help you troubleshoot anything from videocard problems to bad memory. I don’t actually remember hearing anything except for a single beep. Although Vanessa’s computer has an annoying BIOS that says, “Computer now booting from operating system.”
