We ordered a netbook that woot was nice enough to forward to our vacation spot…an Acer Aspire One. It has an Atom processor, but does the job…even streaming Netflix movies…very handy for travelling and taking notes at work. I’ve been trying to get used to google docs offline. You can’t create new documents, for some reason, and also can’t edit spreadsheets. But it’s nice for editing notes when you’re offline.
I see that they are even putting Atom processors in low-end desktops at Fry’s. I didn’t think they were meant for that.
