I pulled out the dust-covered Mind Rover CD again. This 1999 computer game allowed you to build and program robots, Lego Mindstorm style, to win a variety of challenges. Prolly the most educational game I ever enjoyed. For example, I just did a robotic drag race where your robot has to beat the other one across the finish line, but can’t run into the electric fence on the other side. So, I added 4 thrusters to a hoverbot and a sonar with a repeating timer to make it fire constantly. When the sonar saw the electric fence, it reversed thrusters. You can play a mini version of the game in your web browser here. (Better read the instructions first.)
