I’ve been playing a bit of Monster Hunter Freedom on the PSP. It’s pretty entertaining for a portable game, with lots of variety. The player is mainly hunting dinosaurs and other beasties. The control arrangement is a bit confusing. Buttons serve different purposes, depending on what the situation is. There’s nothing more frustrating than trudging through several levels on the hunt for some fish, getting the fish, getting back to the delivery box, pushing square to put the fish in the box and, instead, EATING THE FISH! ARRRRRRRRR!
