Working in 81 degrees, thanks to PNM Power Saver. Beginning to regret having that done. The rebate was nice, but the upstairs area just gets too hot as they turn off the condensers to save electricity. By the way, you can see whether they are currently deactivating the A/C on their website.
UPDATE: I went to this page and am just having them disconnect it. They can’t turn off the unit for one level and leave the other level on. It’s all or nothing.
Doesn’t seem like it would be hot enough to worry about the integrity of the grid.
I was signed up for four years. I cancelled 2 weeks ago, but am still waiting for them to deactivate their devices. Telephoned 2x…..hope the third will be the charm.
