One problem with the Office ribbon interface is that Microsoft picked this cryptic icon for the Office button where they put all the “whatever” features. What do 4 colored square things mean? Your guess is as good as mine.
Now I’ve seen another application that followed this ribbon standard and made their own circular icon with their own cryptic image. It took me quite a while before I figured out that’s where the File->New menu was. I guess ribbons will either go away or we’ll all figure out that we should click on mysterious circular buttons when we can’t find a feature.
