We saw that the Olympics has some pretty odd competitions, such as air pistol. You can actually watch videos of the more obscure stuff online at nbcolympics.com/video. The catch? For some reason (cha-ching), you have to install Microsoft’s Flash competitor, Silverlight. So, Microsoft hopes to worm their way into everyone’s computer this way. Also, the videos are unfortunately not fullscreen. Whatever the case, if you go so far as to install Silverlight, here’s the payoff. Obscure video that NBC would never show on the air such as air shooting, handball, table tennis, taekwondo, trampoline, judo, field hockey, etc.
