I needed some bread, so I ran over to Walmart. They had the most astounding array of black bubble security cameras I’ve ever seen. They were almost in a grid every 15 feet. I’d estimate there were around 200 throughout the store. I tell ya, Walmart is ready for HAL to run the place. Those cameras would be perfect for a computer to monitor things because they can see things from every angle and probably compose a 3D view in the future so that a computer could actually know where things are. “I’m sorry, Dave. I’m I can’t allow you to work here anymore because robots are cheaper.”
When I got back home, Cookie was howling mournfully over and over. I think she misses Vanessa.
